Useful info

Confirmation and check-in

Please check in at our ticket desk on the harbour at least 30 minutes before the departure time of the trip to allow us to direct you. We use departure Point B ‘Rampers’ or Point C ‘Smeatons Pier’. These are identified by Cornwall Council signage at the locations entrances and can also be seen on our map below. Please familiarize yourself with their locations and contact us prior to making any online bookings if any persons in your party have reduced or impaired mobility. This is because both boarding points use steps for access and at low tide, a transfer is required from our 21ft tender out to Tiger Lilly. We can advise of a time to take a trip when embarkation is easiest if required.

The ticket desk is harbour front opposite Mor Beach Cafe and The Sloop Inn (shown at the red circle on the map). This is also an information point for anyone who has booked or wishes to make an enquiry in person.

St Ives is incredibly busy every day from early in the morning. We recommend allowing over and above what time you think you need to arrive in the town and park your car, if you are driving. No refunds are given if you miss the boat.

We recommend arriving in St Ives by train on the park and ride from St Erth or parking at St Ives rugby club and using the hoppa buses from there to drop you near the harbour.

REFUND POLICY

No refunds will be given in the event that you miss the boat because you are running late. No refunds will be given if you book the incorrect date and/or time online unless sufficient notice is given to allow us to resell seats.

Full refunds will be given only in the event of cancellation by the Skipper due to adverse weather. We will always endeavour to offer an alternative trip date first.

Cancellations made by customers must be made at least 48 hours in advance in order for us to make best efforts to resell the spaces, in which case we can offer refunds if the spaces sold are equivalent.

Lifejackets must be worn by everyone boarding at low tide and in any case, all children under 12 years. We provide very high quality lifejackets which are maintained and serviced yearly. Our staff will issue and assist you with your lifejacket. The lifejacket must be returned after your trip and any intentional damage must be paid for by the customer.
